The Yellow House is a traditional fisherman's house located in the small outport community of Duntara on the Bonavista Peninsula. Over 100 years old, the house is situated at the end of a private lane. Its simple design and pleasant aesthetic is complemented by its surroundings; a small stream and fresh water well, a view to the ocean, with swimming, hiking trails, whale watching and historical communities nearby. Root cellars, puffins, moose, icebergs...the list could go on.

The house is decorated with antique furniture and modern amenities. Conceived as an artist residence, it has 2 double bedrooms and 2 small studios on the second floor, one of which is easily converted into a 3rd bedroom.  The main floor is open and cheery with a large deck for morning coffee and evening Bar-B-Q's.  It’s a peaceful spot from which to enjoy the fresh air and surrounding vistas.
